Five days of hands of training that includes; Aggregate Source and Consensus testing, Asphalt Binder PG Grading, and Complete Superpave Mixture Design. Course will also introduce concepts of: Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA), NJDOT’s “Specialty Mixes”, Designing for Mixture Performance and Balanced Mixture Design. |
| Description: | Thomas Bennert, Ph.D., Supervisor of the Rutgers Asphalt Pavement Laboratory, will be presenting the above course in February 2019 for HMA suppliers, testing laboratories, contractors, pavement consultants and other interested individuals. This course will prepare you to satisfy the educational requirements for New Jersey Society Asphalt Technologist (NJSAT) Level 2 Certification Program. |
